Flood relief
When floods cut villages off, we load boats with drinking water, rice and dry food and take them to families who can't leave their homes.
We're a UK registered charity, run by volunteers in London. We support families in Baharmordan, Shompashi and Rongdash, and people looking for work here in London.
মানুষের পাশে, মানুষের জন্যBeside people, for people
BSR is named after three villages in Bangladesh. We're based in London, and we work in both places: in the villages, and in our own community here in the UK.
Our logo shows what we care about most: a home, a schoolbook and a stethoscope. Shelter, learning and health, held up by two pairs of joined hands.
Most of what we do happens on the ground in the villages, handed over in person by our volunteers. Tap a photo to see it larger.

Rice and essentials for households that are struggling to get by.
Low-cost brick homes for families whose houses can't stand up to the weather.
Saplings given out and planted with neighbours, young and old, for shade, fruit and greener villages.
Blankets for older people before the cold nights arrive.
Training and support for people in our community in London who are looking for work.
We help children and young people, older people, people with disabilities, and families who are struggling to get by.
We do this through grants to individuals and families, and through projects our volunteers run in person.
We're registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Our details and yearly accounts are public.
